Laura and I had the oppotunity to go to San Francisco for fun a couple of times last year. The first was for Dave Mellish's uncle's wedding, and the second was on the way out to Hawaii for vacation. Both times we were able to get up to wine country, which is now one of our favarite places. On the second trip, this is where I proposed to Laura (I'm hoping for an answer soon). All of the pictures here are from the first trip, but I'll be putting some of the others up soon.

Lunch at Aumberge Du Soleil, considered one the best views in Napa valley. It was a gorgeous view and the food and wine (of course) were incredible. Halfway through a day of tasting, we're probably just getting tipsy in this one. |
Definitley towards the end of the day - at this point we were buzzed enough to get into a tiny aircraft with no props or engines, have another plane take us to about five thousand feet, and let us go. Way cool, and a hell of a view. |
