Laura and I took a spontaneous vacation a couple of years ago and decided to visit
Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Taos New Mexico. Then last January, entirely by
coincidence, I had a project in Albuquerque and was able to live there for six months.
Not only is New Mexico very beautiful and mysterious, but it has more personality
and character than any other place I've been.

While I was living in Albuquerque, my brothers came to visit for a
weekend. This is a picture of us at the Toas Pueblo. It is an old native
village of small homes made of mud and straw, and still home to 3,000 Anasazi indians (why
am I talking like a nature show host?). It is a very cool place, though.

Laura and I horseback riding in the mountains in Taos. Right on!

Scott and I hanging out on a very cool sculpture in Santa Fe.
There is definitely an abundance of art and artisits in New Mexico and especially Santa
Fe, and this is one of my favorites.

Laura wouldn't leave until I took her picture with the cute sailor guy.
Some more interesting Santa Fe art.

So I'm a little odd...
